The Big Midfield Conundrum

by @CheGiaevara

Remember our 98/99 midfield containing four world-class midfielders named Beckham, Keane, Scholes and Giggs? Those days seem long gone, and many supporters are craving a quality midfielder to enter Old Trafford, as such world-class - especially in the centre of the pitch - is missing at the moment. The chorus is apparently that Fletcher isn't creative enough, Carrick isn't offensive-minded enough, Giggs isn't young enough, Gibson isn't good enough and Anderson isn't consistent enough. Additionally it's too early to demand too much from Tom Cleverley. Now, The Prawn-Sandwich Brigade gives you a "who's who" of potential midfielders who could elevate the current level of out central midfield.

The Second Season Saint

by @CheGiaevara

When Chicharito were given center stage at Old Trafford last season, he made sure to make it a lasting impression. Blistering speed, undying hunger, finishing abillties that had the best in the world tremble at his gaze. Fairly unknown, Chicharito went from zero to hero in no time, scaring of defenders with his awareness inside the box, his will to win and his finishing abillties. Now, he faces his second season at Old Trafford and in the Premier League. Now, defenders will know his strengths, his weaknesses and know his style of play. This season will prove vital for the young Mexican. Will he be just another "flash in the pan" or can he prove to be the real deal?

The Post-Fergie Future

At the sixth of November 1986, Manchester United hired the club's sixth manager after the great Sir Matt Busby's retirement in 1969, and every single one of them (including Busby himself in 1970-71) had failed to win the league, despite some FA Cup glory. The new gaffer was Scottish as well, and with his achievements of bringing league and Cupwinners' Cup silverware to Aberdeen in mind, the United board decided to hope he could do something similiar at Old Trafford. He did, and way beyond, but now his retirement is getting closer day by day. Here's a look at some of the possible men to replace the knighted Scot.

Absolutely Berbastic

by @CheGiaevara

A few summers ago, a tall, elegant Bulgarian magician walked in at Old Trafford. Picked up by Sir Alex Ferguson himself at the airport in his £130,000 Bentley, the future looked, not only magistic, but also very bright for the wanted fellow. Now, two years later, he finds himself in the twilight zone, benched, and when played, not finding his rhythm and his relaxed and suave attitude has been switched with anger and seemingly more frustration.
