The Post-Fergie Future

At the sixth of November 1986, Manchester United hired the club's sixth manager after the great Sir Matt Busby's retirement in 1969, and every single one of them (including Busby himself in 1970-71) had failed to win the league, despite some FA Cup glory. The new gaffer was Scottish as well, and with his achievements of bringing league and Cupwinners' Cup silverware to Aberdeen in mind, the United board decided to hope he could do something similiar at Old Trafford. He did, and way beyond, but now his retirement is getting closer day by day. Here's a look at some of the possible men to replace the knighted Scot.

Absolutely Berbastic

by @CheGiaevara

A few summers ago, a tall, elegant Bulgarian magician walked in at Old Trafford. Picked up by Sir Alex Ferguson himself at the airport in his £130,000 Bentley, the future looked, not only magistic, but also very bright for the wanted fellow. Now, two years later, he finds himself in the twilight zone, benched, and when played, not finding his rhythm and his relaxed and suave attitude has been switched with anger and seemingly more frustration.

The Anderson Make-or-Break

Despite @CheGiaevara put pen to paper about our midfield in general through his/our previous post, I'd like to focus on one particular player featuring on this part of our side, the player I reckon has the highest potential. As the headline reads, this could be the vital season for Anderson Luis Abreu de Oliveira. This could be the make or break for our £17,3M transfer from the summer of 2007.
